Things to keep in mind:

  • Keep to the perimeter of the launch pads, avoid going in among the wiring unless instructed to do so.  Don't go and retrieve a rocket within the pad circle without gaining permission from the LCO/RSO.
  • Walk, don't run, near the pads, rockets, flightline etc.
  • High Power will be permitted if:
  1. Good weather with good visibility.
  2. Wind direction away from the power lines
towards the east more than less!
  • HPR Waiver to 3500 feet.
  • High power flyers with rockets on the high power pads should be in the high power active flyer zone.
  • Ensure you are not obstructing the LCO's view of any launch pad, especially the high power pads!
  • Remain closer to the flightline than the CMASS trailer during high power launches!
  • Keep in mind if the wind shifts toward the power lines, HPR flights will be halted and a 1000 foot altitude limit imposed.
  • Flights to 1000 feet for apogee chute deployment.
  • Higher flights using electronic deployment may be permitted.
  • NO SPARKY MOTORS - there may be consequences if you put one over on the LCO/RSO!
